Many thanks to a Canadian, Ken McKenzie, for this contribution. His notation for this video clip -

"From what I can tell this one is a ..... well ....not a fake so much as a combining of 2 clips....one modern and one older. This almost looks like it was intended for a tv commercial."

It certainly appears to have been produced professionally. Does the General from TV's StarGate go fishing? The different camera angles and positions in the boat create a particular impression. The majestic PBY5A was one of many variations, more commonly known as "Catalina" Flying Boats.

VicStunt viewers have the choice of either AVI, MPG or WMV formats.
Each will display from here in a popup window - You can initiate it, then look somewhere else while it downloads. The taskbar will show a button for the popup window while it resides in the background.

The AVI will, on most people's computers, playback with Windows Media Player. While this format is a little clearer, it has been cropped from 60 to 30 seconds, and is still a 5.4Mb file, so download may be very slow.

The MPG will, on most people's computers, playback with whatever program the system uses for this format. It is been cropped from 60 to 30 seconds, and is still a 6Mb file, so download may be very slow.

The WMV
MUST have Windows Media Player version 9. This file is the full 60 seconds, and is only 1.6Mb, so may be preferred by those not using a broadband connection.

Click HERE to read about installing or updating Media Player with systems other than Windows XP, whereas XP users probably already have it.
